Hi, do you treat patients with Hypothyroidism who are taking medication? Do these patiens report any negative reactions and/or less success in losing weight?
Yes, we treat patients with Hypothyroidism. Their success rate is the same. However, we do introduce hypothyroid patients to natural thyroid and provide the necessary lab tests as part of our programs.
Many of our patients do switch to natural thyroid with great results.
Is the entire 667 due at the inital visit? Is there an age requirement? Is the Lipo-BC a separate purchase from the 667, and do you pay at each additional follow up visit?
Yes, the enrollment fee is due in full at sign-up. No, there is not an age requirement. We have had clients of a wide age range achieve great results.
The HCG Program includes the following supplements: CleanseMax, Magnesium Potassium, and Natural Multivitamin. Lipo BC is not included but can be purchased at any of our clinics.
Each follow-up visit while on the HCG program is completely free.
I have some medical conditions, incl. mitral valve prolapse; I am leary, afraid that I will get palpitations/racing from the meds. Maybe this is not the plan for me????
HCG should not cause any problems. You should not get palpitations or racing from the HCG, a hormone. Your medical condition is not a contraindication for HCG but you should be medically supervised every step of your program. (i.e., the HCG diet is best administered under the care of a medical professional)
I’m starting my HCG injections this coming Tuesday (Yay!)… my question is, since my appointment is at 115pm – will I need to start my “loading” phase that morning?
Then, do I continue the shots at the same time everyday… or can I switch to morning shots on Wednesday?
During the first 2 days of the HCG program – the loading phase – you are taking your shots, so yes you should start your loading phase that day/morning.
It is generally best to do your HCG injections at the same time each day just to make sure that you are consistent and remember to take it each day. But, you will be fine doing the first HCG injection in the afternoon then switching to the morning.
*Tip: Some clients say that doing the injection at night keeps them up, so you might want to make sure you take it earlier in the day if possible.
Hope this helps!
This is day 5 for me on the HCG program. Is Jennie-O Extra Lean Turkey Bacon (fat free) okay as a protein? What about egg whites or a boiled egg?
Egg whites are OK, they are packed with protein and have little calories. The yolk is not acceptable in any form.
If the Turkey Bacon you mention is fat free, does not contain sugar, and fits within your caloric limit, it is probably OK.
But, as we tell all of our clients: we don’t know everything that does not work, we do know what does work. If you follow the HCG protocol exactly as prescribed, you are giving yourself the greatest potential for a successful weight loss program. Any deviations you take are a risk to your success.
Aside from that, follow the guidelines for fat and sugar, and you will most likely be OK.
Can you eat Scallops or Shrimp on the diet? Also, the nurse at the at the Dr. office said their was a salad dressing that was ok to use? does anyone know the name of it? Also, is there any kind of sugar substitute?
Hi Aimee,
Here are the answers to your questions:
-Shrimp and Scallops are OK
-Our clients have been successful with Walden Farms dressings and sauces found near the gluten free foods in the grocery store
-Xylitol is a sugar substitute that is HCG-compliant and some people use Stevia with success (but, to have the greatest probability of success from your HCG Diet you might want to avoid Stevia if possible)
Sample Question:
How long is the HCG program?”
Sample Response:
The HCG protocol is designed for a 40-day program. But, depending on how much weight you need to lose, it could be shorter. Also, if you need to lose more weight, the maximum is 40 days for one round, but many people need more than one round of HCG.
